Shelly Sindland is a former television reporter who knows the tricks of the trade on how to make you look great in front of the camera. Specializing in portraits, Shelly has photographed advertising executives, creative art directors, television personalities, journalists, political leaders and local business owners. She also brings her show on the road with her ever-popular "Put Your Best Face Forward" picture parties, aimed at giving women and men amazing portrait shots for things like Linkedin, Facebook and other social media sites at a discounted group rate.
"I love photographing people," Sindland said. "Capturing just the right angle, look, and their personality shows in all my work. Seeing how thrilled they are with the results, is what makes it all worth while."

Her family photographs are also organic and natural. For years, Shelly told stories with words, now her family photographs tell stories of their own. Whether it's that smile or unexpected moment, Shelly knows what makes a good picture and which ones tell a good story.
As a published photographer, her most recent project "Guts & Glamour" showcased Connecticut female firefighters in formal attire. The 2012 calendar was ranked in the top ten in the world and received state-wide media coverage.
